How to buy a ticket for Tutorial in PyCon APAC 2023

The tickets for Tutorials are now available for purchase. Since it is a bit unclear how to buy a Tutorial ticket and add it to your conference ticket, this article provides detailed explanation of the procedure.

If you don't have any ticket now

If you don't already have a conference ticket, and plan to buy a conference ticket & tutorial ticket, please move to the ticket sales site (https://pretix.eu/pyconjp/2023-apac/) from "Ticket Info" button on the PyCon APAC 2023 official website.

Click "Ticket Info"

 

On the ticket sales site (https://pretix.eu/pyconjp/2023-apac/), add a conference ticket of appropriate type (Personal, Business, or Student) to cart, and select a ticket for your Tutorial as an option later during checkout. 

If you already have a conference ticket

Find your order

Even if you have already purchased a ticket, you can still add Tutorial ticket as an option. 

You can see your ticket info from the link on the order confirmation email of conference ticket. You can find it by searching your inbox with "[PyCon APAC 2023] Your order" or "support@pretix.eu". 

Click the link on the email

If you don't find the email, you can request the system to resend it. Click the "Resend order link" button at the very bottom of the ticket sales site (https://pretix.eu/pyconjp/2023-apac/).

On the next page, fill the box with the email you used to buy the ticket, and click "Send links", then you should receive an email. Please click the link on that email.

Input your email address and click "Send links"

Add Tutorial ticket to your conference ticket

Information about your ticket should be showing on the page you moved to from the link. Please click "Change order" at the bottom part of the page.

Click "Change order"

 

Select Tutorial(s) you want to participate in, and click "Continue".

Select Tutorial(s) and click "Continue"

 

Confirm the price (4,000 JPY in this example) and click "Perform changes".

Confirm the price and click "Perform changes".

 

Select "PayPal" as a payment method and complete the payment.

You've successfully added a Tutorial ticket. Please come to the tutorial venue on Thu. 26th Octorber!
