Hello! I'm masamori, the PyCon JP 2022 Content Team Leader.
As I announced in this blog recently, we are now accepting talk proposals.
Every year we receive a large number of submissions, for which we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. This year, we have received many attractive proposals from Japan and abroad.
We would like to invite everyone who submitted a proposal to speak at the conference, but unfortunately the number of sessions for the two-day conference is limited.
Therefore, we must review and accept or reject all proposals.
We believe it is important to review proposals from a variety of perspectives and strike a balance based on diverse opinions in order to make the talk sessions valuable to as many participants as possible.
However, the number of people reviewing proposals within the staff alone is small, and the reviewing viewpoints tend to be biased.
Therefore, we are looking for people who can review proposals for PyCon JP 2022 together with us.
Even if you are an inexperienced reviewer, it's okay, because the proposals accepted at PyCon JP 2022 will make the future of Python even more wonderful.
Please help us make this a great session by contributing your experience and knowledge.
If you are interested, please apply using the reviewer application form here.
Review Period: Until early July
Application Deadline: Friday, June 24, 23:59 JST
Reviewers who have submitted proposals may also apply to be a reviewer, but cannot review proposals submitted by themselves.
Reviewers who apply will be invited to the Slack PyCon JP workspace # 2022-reviewers channel. Detailed instructions on how to review will be provided on this channel.
You may also start reviewing when you are registered as a reviewer.
We look forward to hearing from you!
