The Venue and Schedule for PyCon JP 2022 have been decided!

Hello! My name is Azuma, a member of publicity team in PyCon JP 2022.

We are pleased to inform you that the venue and schedule for PyCon JP 2022 have been decided.

We are planning to hold the event on-site this year. However, we will continue to monitor the latest information regarding COVID-19 and as a result our plans are subject to change to ensure a safe event.

Venue

Venue: TOC Ariake Convention Hall

Location: 3-5-7 Ariake, Koto-ku, Tokyo

Nearest stations: Kokusai-tenjijo (Rinkai Line), Tokyo Big Sight (Yurikamome)

Schedule

The event is scheduled to be held on October 14th (Fri), 15th (Sat), and 16th (Sun), 2022.

14th: Conference

15th: Conference, party (if it is safe to do so)

16th: Sprint and others undecided

The above breakdown is planned and may change depending on the infection status.

When the content of the day is confirmed, we will inform you separately on the website, Blog, Twitter.

Looking for staff

PyCon JP 2022 is looking for volunteer staff for the conference.

It's been two months since we started recruiting staff, and thanks to you, we are gathering very reliable members.

We need more help to make Japan's largest Python conference a success again this year.

I hope you can show off your skills and enthusiasm at PyCon 2022.

I want to propose conference goods! I want to come up with a content idea! I want to be a local staff member! I want to help manage the conference in general! etc…
