招待講演について

PyCon JPでは招待講演としてスピーカーを招待しています（2019年はRenyuan Lyuさんを招待しました）。
2020年は招待講演の枠を例年より増やす計画です。

Python関連書籍の著者や広く使われているライブラリの開発者の招待の準備を進めています。
ふだん会えないPython使いにPyCon JPで会うことができ、さらに直接質問できる場所を提供する狙いで企画されました。
招待講演を楽しみにしていてください！

プロポーザル募集について

PyCon JP 2020でもトークのプロポーザルを募集します。
現在準備を進めていますが、今回伝えたいことは1つです。

プロポーザル募集期間が昨年よりも短くなる可能性があります。

このブログ記事でプロポーザルを募集することをお知らせしたので、発表を考えている方は早速プロポーザルの準備を始めるのをオススメします。
力のこもったプロポーザルをお待ちしています！

遅くとも4月にはプロポーザルを募集する見込みです。

We have two announcements about talks in PyCon JP 2020:

2. About Call for Proposals

About invited talks

In past PyCon JP, we invited some speakers (known as "invited talks". We invited Renyuan Lyu in 2019).
We are planning to hold more invited talks in 2020 than before.

We are going to invite authors of books about Python and developers of well-known libraries.
The purpose of invited talks is for participants to meet skilled Pythonistas who are difficult to meet usually and to ask questions to them directory.
Look forward to invited talks!

About Call for Proposals

In PyCon JP 2020, we will call for talk proposals as usual.
We are now preparing, and what we want to tell you is only one thing:

A period of calling for proposals will probably be shorter than that in 2019.

Now that you know calling for proposals in PyCon JP 2020, it would be better to begin to prepare your proposal immediately.
We are looking forward to your enthusiastic proposals!

At the latest, we will start calling for proposals in April.
