PyCon JP 2025まであと8日となりました！この記事では、PyCon JP 2025の会場に設置される「オープンスペース」についてご紹介します。

オープンスペースとは？

オープンスペースは、共通の関心を持つ人々が集まって小グループで議論を行うイベントです。あらかじめ決められたテーマやスピーカーがいるわけではなく、参加者がその場でトピックを提案し、アジェンダを設定します。このような柔軟でダイナミックな形式により、カジュアルな雰囲気の中、参加者間で自由に議論し知識を共有することができます。

開催概要

オープンスペースはPyCon JP 2025 2日目の9/27(土)にのみ開催されます。詳細は以下の通りです。

オープンスペースに参加するには？

気になるセッションに参加する

会場にはホワイトボードが用意されており、その時点で提案されているセッションの一覧を確認できます。あなたの興味を引くセッションがあったら、そのセッションの時間にまたオープンスペースにお越しください！

自分でセッションを企画する

参加者は会場のホワイトボードに記入することでトピックを提案できます。自分のセッションを企画したい場合は、次の手順に従ってください。

1. ホワイトボードで空いているセッションを見つける。

2. タイトル、名前をホワイトボードに記入する。

これで完了です！

オープンスペースはみなさんのアイデアによって形作られます。PyCon JP 2025の2日目はぜひオープンスペースを訪れて、他の参加者と語り合いましょう！

In this article, we introduce the Open Space at PyCon JP 2025, where participants discuss various topics proposed at the venue!

What is Open Space?

Instead of having predefined topics and speakers, Open Space allows the participants to set the agenda themselves. The structure is flexible, attendees come together, suggest topics on the spot, and form breakout groups based on shared interests. This dynamic format encourages open discussions, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration in a casual setting.

Note that Open Space will be hosted only on the 2nd day (Sep 27th) of PyCon JP 2025! Details are as follows:

How to take part in Open Space?

Attending a session of your interest

The venue has a whiteboard where participants can check sessions with suggested topics. If you find any session interesting, come over to Open Space again when it starts!

Organizing your own session

Any participant can propose their topic on the whiteboard. If you want to organize a session, you simply need to:

1. Spot a vacant time slot on the whiteboard.

2. Write your title and name on the board.

That's it! Once your session is on the board, other attendees can join you for a discussion.
