Hello! I am Masamori, the PyCon JP 2022 content team leader.
In this blog, I'd like to share the review points of PyCon JP 2022 talk proposals.
When we review talk proposals, we will consider the following key points:
Is the content relevant to Python?
Is the content unique and/or novel?
Are the objectives of the proposal and the issues to be addressed clear?
Is there something the audience can take away from the talk, such as new insights or knowledge??
Is the structure clear enough to clearly visualize the presentation of the talk?
It is possible that the proposal you are submitting is in an area unfamiliar to the reviewers. With this in mind, it would be even better if you can provide an explanation that is easy for newcomers to understand.
We encourage all Python users who wish to share their knowledge of Python to write proposals with the above points in mind.
If you have already submitted a proposal, you can change it on the proposal submission page within the application period.
We are also looking for external reviewers to evaluate talk proposals.
Those who have submitted proposals will also be able to participate in the review process, and we would be happy to have your active participation.
We will announce on the PyCon JP blog when we open applications to become a reviewer.
In addition, talk proposals are being accepted at https://pretalx.com/pyconjp2022/cfp until 23:59 on AoE June 12 (Sun).
If you have any questions about proposals, please contact us using this form.
We look forward to receiving your proposals!
