PyCon APAC 2023 can provide Travel Grant to attendees.
Eligibility
Attendees who are unable to attend PyCon APAC 2023 due to travel, lodging, and ticket expenses.
Grant Amount
If your travel grant request is accepted, PyCon JP Association will support you with reimbursement of incurred travel expenses up to the following limits:
- Attendees in Japan: up to 50,000 JPY
- Attendees from overseas: up to 200,000 JPY
You will be reimbursed at the venue reception desk.
Grant Availability
Approximately 10 grants from overseas are available.
In response to the high volume of applications, priority will be given to students and long-distance travelers among the applicants.
Application Deadline
Please apply by 25th August AoE(Anywhere on Earth)
Notification of result
Will be notified via email from 31st August.

Reimbursement
Please ensure to submit a copy of your receipt - either paper or e-ticket - for the travel expenses to the reception desk at the venue. You will be reimbursed for the travel cost up to the approved grant amount based on the provided receipt.

Note
- Expenses other than transportation and event ticket expenses are not covered.
- If you are under 18 years old, you must provide a letter of approval from your parents or guardians.
