PyCon APAC 2023: Call for proposals for community poster sessions

 Hi, I'm koyhoge, one of PyCon APAC 2023 contents team.

PyCon APAC 2023 will be reviving the poster session, which was previously held at PyCon JP. 

A poster session is a presentation format where the speaker presents their content on a large panel, and then individual attendees can interact with the speaker. In the CfP for PyCon APAC 2023, we are also accepting proposals for poster sessions in addition to the regular talk-style presentations.

We have received a few proposals for poster sessions, but we are now also accepting proposals for community poster sessions. Community poster sessions are a separate track from the CfP, and are intended for Python communities to introduce themselves to the wider Python community.

Proposal Guidelines:

• Background panel size: 900mm x 1800mm
• Multiple posters are allowed within the above size
• Topic: Community or event introduction
• Attendants will be able to interact with the poster during the presentation time
• Separate application for PyCon APAC 2023 is required
