PyCon JP 2018 Sprint Day questionnaire / PyCon JP 2018 企画始動＆スプリント日程アンケート

PyCon JP 2018 座長の吉田です。

先日、PyCon JP 2018のスタッフでPyCon JP 2018に向けた初回ミーティングを行いました。

PyCon JP 2018はPyCon JP 2017クロージングで発表したように東京都大田区産業プラザPiOで開催予定です。
例年PyCon JPではカンファレンスのほかに、チュートリアルとスプリントを実施しています。
チュートリアルは有料のPythonに関わるハンズオンセッションです。

初回ミーティングでチュートリアルDayは2018/09/16 (日)で進めることにしました。
なお会場確保はこれからなので、変わる可能性があります。

PyCon JP 2018 スケジュール(予定)
　　2018/09/16 (日) チュートリアルDay
　　2018/09/17 (月祝) カンファレンスDay1 ※祝日
　　2018/09/18 (火) カンファレンスDay2 ※平日
　　※スプリントの会場も東京近郊を予定しています

スプリントはPythonに関わるプロジェクトを短期の日程で行うハッカソンで参加無料としています。

スプリントの日程については複数の候補があり、日程未定となっています。上記のように今回は月曜(祝日)、火曜日という変則のスケジュールのため、例年のカンファレンス後にスプリントという形が良いか検討したいと考えています。

そこで、PyCon JP 2018でスプリントを開催する際にどのようなスケジュールだと参加がしやすいか、アンケートをとり、それを参考にしたいと考えています。

Hello! Hi I am Shunsuke Yoshida, the Chair for PyCon JP 2018.

We are starting to prepare for the next PyCon , in particular, the developer sprints.
We are planning to run sprints for PyCon JP 2018.
We would like to make the sprints accessible to everyone, not just those living in Tokyo.
In particular, we would like members from other cities and countries to attend.
Please respond to the survey below to let us know what the most convenient dates are.
We will be accepting responses until 26 Nov 2017.
Please respond as quickly as possible so we can make arrangements for the venue.

For your reference, the PyCon JP 2018 schedule is below:

2018/09/16 (Sun) Tutorial Day
2018/09/17 (Mon) Conference Day 1 (Japan Public Holiday)
2018/09/18 (Tue) Conference Day 2 (working day)

Since the conference is happening in Tokyo Otaku Pio, we plan to sprints venue in the Tokyo area.
